Rope Ink is a traditional Chinese woodworking tool which consist of a rope and an ink box, and it is used to draw long straight lines by pulling out its ink-soaked rope.
This feature allows it to appear as blackened prismatic squares as it moves across the paper, and the blackened squares can express the preciousness of time if used to express time that has passed.
